Tip #6 When your Kid brings home the CUTEST ARTWORK EVER

Preschool and Elementary school are full of crafts and art projects and the cutest things to a mom's heart.  I have 4 kids....I swoon over their masterpieces.  I have 1 box that I keep all the items that I SERIOUSLY love in...1 box for all 4 not 1 box for each kid.  I store the box at the top of the kid's closet and at the end of the year, I go through the box again and in a less swoony state, I keep the ones I STILL love after time has passed and toss the others.

But for the artwork that is so cute and I am proud of them for creating and they are also proud of, we have a place on our door in the kitchen that is on a revolving system.  Each kiddo has a magnet.  Each kid can have 1 piece of art up at a time.  Once another beautiful piece comes home in their folder, out with the old and in with the new.  This has worked beautifully in our home.  Our kids are only young once.  Their hands are only that size for a short amount of time.  The artwork slows down as they grow...savor this time...but don't let all the sweet memories take over.
