Tip #9 Everything in your Home should have a Place

I have said this before and I will say it again.  And then I just might say it again.  Clutter grows because it doesn't have a place.  And it doesn't have a place because it actually might not belong in your home.  If it does in fact belong in your home, it would have a proper place.

So take a look at your problem areas....one place at a time.  Collect similar items and make a specific place for them.  Pencils belong in one place.  Mail belongs in one place.  Kid's shoes, legos, extra blankets, books....and the list goes on and on....all things belong in ONE place.

Having a place for everything makes clean up so EASY!  Isn't that what we want....something in our life to be easier!  Having a place for everything makes decisions easier, too.  When everything is in one place, you know what you have, you know if you need more of something and you know if you need to purge because you have too much of something.
